Aari Chain Stitch - Part II
Today I am going to post a clear video demo of how to finish the aari chain stitch in Aari work. In my previous Aari chain stitch video, making the knot at the end of the chain stitch is not very clear, so I am posting this video to show how to make the knot. This video is very clear and I am sure it will clear all your doubts. It is very important in Aari embroidery that if you didn't put the knot perfectly, the whole design will come off. So please practice this technique again and again before going to the next step. I am working on my other videos and will post the next step in Aari embroidery/ Aari work like curves and sharp turnings. I will post it soon. Look forward for more videos on Aari work and embroidery designs.

Aari or Maggam Embroidery
This is one of the ancient technique used to do embroidery in silk materials. It is made by using simple chain stitches using Aari needle. Aari needle is similar to crochet hook in thin size. In India it is widely used now a days to decorate sarees, saree blouses and kids traditional dresses with heavy zari work. Gold and metal zari threads, beads, sequins, kundan stones and silk embroidery threads are mainly used in Aari work. It gives a royal look to any garments embroidered with this kind of work. No doubt everyone will love it and it is not a big deal we can easily learn it here step by step. Look forward for tutorials and embroidery designs.
