Samples of Custom Embroidery Using Maggam or Aari Embroidery
Today I am posting some of the samples of custom embroidery using Maggam/Aari work in saree blouses and ladies tops. These are all made using simple chain stitch and sequins, beads and swarovski crystals in strand.

Stunning work. I'm still working out the difference between maggam and aari - only just started reading your blog. So far it looks like aari is a type of stitching used within maggam, and tambour is done from beneath? I'll get there! Thanks for posting your work.
