Design Your Blouse Using Thread work in Aari
Here is the instruction to do a type of thread work using aari/maggam embroidery. Thread work will give a rich look to any of your creations. There is nothing to compare with handmade thread work, it always stands out. Today I am going to explain how to do long and short stitch in aari embroidery. Load the frame with fabric of your choice (really tight like a drum "Tambour" embroidery). Get ready with your aari needle and machine embroidery thread. Start with a small chain, then pull the chain little long in the cross wise, punch there and pull the thread out. Again pull it long in the same cross line, punch and pull the thread down near the first punch point. Punch and pull the thread down to where you started and put a knot stitch and repeat this stitch again as shown in the picture.
